A versatile technical formula for the car's exterior
Light clay cleans by drawing out light levels of embedded contaminants, such as grime, road dust, brake dust, and excessive spray, from the pores of clear, shiny surfaces like paint, clear plastics, glass, and polished metals. If left unchecked, these contaminants can ruin your car's shine by blocking reflected light, scratching the surface, and causing the paint to oxidize, discolor, and peel.
How to use:
- Wash the car thoroughly to remove dirt and loose debris.
- Cover a 2 x 2 area generously.
- Cut off ⅓ of the clay board, shape it into a pie, then gently move it back and forth across the surface until the clay flows freely.
- Buff each completed section to dry with a microfiber towel and inspect the clay. If it's dirty, fold the clay and use a clean section.
- If you drop the clay or it becomes completely dirty, discard the piece of clay and proceed with a new piece of clay strip.
